As Day 73 of the static NBA lockout begins, some hope has shone through the bars.
One of the biggest problems so far in this lockout is lack of talk; there have been sporadic meetings with not much forward progress taking place. However, this past week, the two sides met two days in a row on Wednesday and Thursday. Stern stated that negotiations are “getting to be an important time” as they met for 5 1/2 hours on Thursday. This upcoming Tuesday is their next scheduled meeting, bringing in a larger group of representatives from both sides. Hopefully this can bring the association one step closer to a 2011-2012 NBA season.
