David Stern is willing to give up as much of the NBA season as possible to "win" this lockout. Are you okay with that?

November 1st. This was the day the NBA was supposed to start their 2011-2012 season. This was the day the Dallas Mavericks would finally receive their championship rings and would be able to begin defending their 2010-2011 Championship. This was the day we would soon be able to see how the LeMiami Heat would respond to all the heated criticism they have faced. This was the day we would see MVP Derrick Rose build off his previously surprising and successful season. This was the day Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook would gather their young-gunning troops and try to make another push for a ring. This was the day Kobe Bryant would start his 16th NBA season but without Phil Jackson by his side. This was the day we would begin to see if the Memphis Grizzlies’ startling playoff run last year was a one-time fluke or a sign of the future. This was the day the Spurs would begin to show us if their dynasty was finally over or if they still have a 50+ win season in them. This was the day Dwight Howard, Chris Paul, and Deron Williams would make one last championship run before their 2012 free agency was upon them. This was the day Carmelo Anthony, Amare Stoudemire, and Chauncey Billups would finally get to have an entire NBA season together. This was the day more dunks would continue to be accumulated for the Blake Griffin Dunk Package. This was the day Kyrie Irving and Tristan Thompson would be preparing to play their first NBA game for the new-look Cleveland Cavaliers. This was the day we would finally be able to see Charles Barkley and Shaquille O’Neal team up for an inevitably hilarious TNT Inside the NBA television show. This was the day – the day for basketball. And it’s gone. Instead, we have more bickering about millions of dollars to hear about. Hopefully, an agreement can somehow take place sometime in the near future, and we can savor as much of an NBA season as possible…
