The Los Angeles Kings currently have a 3-0 series lead on the Phoenix Coyotes in the Western Conference Finals, and the New York Rangers and New Jersey Devils are tied at one game a piece in the Eastern Conference Finals. If the Rangers and Kings happen to make it to the Stanley Cup Finals, these teams would be unable to relate to one another. The Kings would have faced the highest possible group of seeds (Canucks (1), Blues (2), Coyotes (3), Rangers (1)) and the Rangers would have played the lowest possible group of seeds (Senators (8), Capitals (7), Devils (6), Kings (8)).
